Remembering Dad on his birthday

On the Sunday nearest July 28th,  family and friends gathered at Mom's house and shared a bbq and backyard gathering to celebrate the anniversary of Dad's birth.  Though there were some moments of sadness,  we took joy in each other's company and in the memories we share.   For all of us,  there are ways in which Dad still fills our days.
