Thanksgiving Day 2010

In the late morning of this cold Thanksgiving Day,  I pulled out Dad's "Going Upstream"  and paged through the parts where he talked about coming to Portland his early years.  What a great gift these pages are.  As I think about Archer and Adam,  and all the little ones coming along I am so glad that they will 'hear' Gompa's voice and have some sense of who he was.  Three years today and I miss him but I am also at peace.  

On the occasion of Dad's birthday...

July 28 is Dad's birthday and would be his 85th? Still grateful for all he gave us.  Still watching the sky unfold and marveling at the universe we've been given.  Thanks again,  Dad.
